Underwhelming
By Angel Q | on Monday, July 29, 2024
Toyota has let faithful customers down. The car itself performs well, but the quality is severely lacking. The vehicle is plagued with rattles: the windows make wind noise and can’t be left partially open due to the risk of breaking, the doors rattle, the panoramic roof rattles, the center console rattles, and the roof panel rattles. Additionally, the driver’s seat squeaks louder than any other car I've owned. The transmission is clunky, and the throttle response is so delayed it feels like a safety hazard. The truck has some nice features, but I couldn’t get past all the plastic, rattles, noises, poor rear suspension. Truthfully I didn’t like the twin turbo 6. The dealership in my area will lie to you and refuse to fix anything until the recalls come out, even then, they work on commission and are estimating they wont fix the recalls for at least a year. Is this even legal? My engine is being recalled and I don’t believe it will last another year. I had a 2016 Tacoma before this and never had these issues. I do not recommend this truck, at least until Toyota gets their act together.…
